Rejection as a compliment

A while ago I shared a post about rejection and how sometimes it was for reasons that are a compliment, like the one today. I reacted to a request at a freelance community to a small project and the answer I got is:

"Wow you can photograph! It is too bad that we cannot work together right now, I think the sector where we work doesn't offer you enough excitement or challenges and we probably cannot afford the payment you usually get. I enjoyed watching your portfolio!"

In a way, it feels nice that my work is experienced as high value and in the other side it is still a rejection. I'll put it in my pocket, as a compliment.

Thank you for reading!
